Gorilla Shutters & More, Inc. was founded in August of 2010 as the offspring of Gorilla Shutter Mfg, Inc which was also founded by Scott and his then partner who has since retired from the industry. The Owner and President Scott Martinez has been in the Hurricane Shutter industry in multiple different roles from installer through the ranks to owner since early 1993. In 1993/1994 he assisted in the testing lab for one of the first Dade County approved accordion hurricane shutter systems then known as the Big Bertha Accordion shutter. Through the years Scott has encountered many different products and installation applications which makes it possible for him to assist even the newest of shutter companies in getting their product correct the first time. As a former installer he understands the importance of producing the product correctly so the contractor/installer can install the product quickly and efficiently. As a manufacturer of hurricane shutters he has handpicked products that he not only trusts but he has seen last through the years. In late 2011 Gorilla Shutters & More, Inc. broke into the motorized screen industry with both feet. As an expert in the rolling shutter industry it was a simple addition to the product line and has since produced well over 3000 units for both the retail and wholesale customer, with projects for restaurants and homeowners alike. How much can you handle? We have done projects like City of Labelle Greentree Apartments 500 complete accordion shutters in a 45 Day window, more than 55 single family homes in the Indian River Colony Club community in less than 60 days or the 150 plus Bahama shutters on the new Riverstone Palm Beach Building in West Palm Beach in less than 45 Days.  All of this while continuing to service and to manufacture for our everyday clients.
